Central Oregon Seed Exchange (COSE) is a network dedicated to strengthening our farming and gardening community in central Oregon. Our goal is to create a sustainable local food supply and support regional biodiversity. We are working to increase local seed saving, increase seed exchange, provide education around how to effectively save seed & develop seed stock acclimatized to our unique area, & generally support sustainable agriculture in Central Oregon.  Our regional Deschutes County Seed Exchange is located at Central Oregon Locavore in Bend, OR.

We have grown! The Central Oregon Seed Exchange provides free seed and educational opportunities to low income residents, local school chapters, non-profit groups, tribal communities, local farmers and school children in Deschutes County.  We will be increasing our yields again for the 2022 growing season to encourage access to more healthy, locally grown, cold climate, non-GMO produced seed for local residents in Central Oregon.
